Permissions
Access to custom profile sections can now be set section by section, rather than for a whole profile tab. Each permission group can be given See or Edit access to a section on employees' own profiles, their reports' profiles, or all employees' profiles. Read more.
Note Existing access has been carried over automatically. New sections are no longer shared with groups automatically, and archived fields are visible to admins only. We recommend reviewing access to sensitive sections after this change.
Growth
Goal reminders Set a recurring reminder on any goal (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) to keep goals visible to the people responsible without manual chasing.
Re-enroll people into Rolling Reviews If your review criteria is something that can happen many times in employee's lifecycle (for example Return to Work questionnaire), you can allow for participants to qualify again. All previous results will be under the same review, making it easy to access all history. Read more.
Attendance
Employee availability for Shifts and Rota Employees can optionally mark the hours and days they're unavailable to pick up shifts, so schedule managers and team leads can build rotas respecting what people have opted for. Read more.
Open Shifts approval flow Add an approval step to open shifts so a claim is reviewed before it's confirmed on the rota. Keeps oversight on who takes what, especially when open shifts are posted across multiple teams or sites. Read more.
Expenses
Conditional approval in Expenses Route expense approvals down different paths based on conditions such as amount, category, payment method, or Custom Rule. Send a £5 lunch straight through, a £500 flight to Finance, and anything over policy to a department head, all inside the same approval flow.
Payroll & Reports
GCC WPS payment files Payment file generation for the GCC Wage Protection System — Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the UAE — so customers running payroll across the region file compliant WPS submissions directly from Zelt.
Component breakdown in Global Payroll Global Payroll payruns include a line-by-line component breakdown, mirroring the detail already available in UK Payroll. Admins see exactly how each payline resolves across earnings, deductions, and employer contributions.
Working pattern in reports Working pattern data is available as report columns, so admins slice headcount, FTE, and planned hours against the pattern each employee actually works.
Forms
Grouped sections in ATS Application Forms Application forms can be structured into named sections, so candidates work through a form in logical groups rather than one long scroll. Useful for forms that mix screening questions, personal details, and eligibility checks.
Grouped sections in Custom Request Forms The same grouping extends to custom request forms. The Instructions section stays pinned at the top so employees see any guidance before they start, the rest moves freely to suit the request.
Tasks
Tagging for Tasks A familiar @-mention flow for referring to colleagues inside a task. Type @ and the person’s name directly in the task description, i.e. “Check sign-off with @Marcus”, “Loop in @Alice before this closes” and each tagged person will be added in "Requested for" column for the task. So the person completing said task can quickly see who the task is referring to.
