What's new in Zelt. Release #48.

Recurring reviews, scheduled candidate emails, and a redesigned absence request flow on mobile. Payroll gets more accurate timesheet controls and clearer expense statuses. Plus timezone support lands across attendance and the mobile app.

Reviews

Recurring Reviews Review cycles can now be set up as recurring, with a parent review acting as the settings template. Set up the structure once and Zelt handles the scheduling, so review cycles run consistently without administrative effort between each one. Compare the trend and see all previous feedback in one place. Read more.

Results Pages The results table now includes all participants, giving a complete picture of response progress at a glance. Results views have also been reorganised into separate pages: table, form, notes, and radar chart. Export formatting has also been improved: answer options now appear as plain comma-separated text, scale configuration is split into label, value, and sentiment columns, and answer weights are included where set.

Numerical Scales Scale question results can now be displayed as a numeric average alongside, especially useful where the raw score (i.e. 3.5 out of 5) carries more meaning than a normalised figure (70%).

Automations

User select custom field and approval flows Organisations rarely have a single reporting line. Team leads, department heads, project managers, onboarding buddies, and second-level managers all play a role in day-to-day approvals.

The new User Select custom field bridges that gap. You can create fields to capture any people-based relationship on an employee's profile and those fields can then be used as an approver source in any approval flow. This means approvals can follow your actual organisational structure, not just the formal reporting line.

Talent

Scheduled Emails When moving a candidate to a new stage, recruiters and hiring managers can choose whether to send the associated email immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time. If a candidate moves to a different stage before the scheduled email sends, it is automatically cancelled, so candidates never receive communications that are no longer relevant.

Hiring Manager Actions Hiring managers can move candidates between stages and send or cancel emails directly from the candidate profile, consistent with the actions available to admins.

Absence

Job Title Filter Absence policies and payment type member rules (expenses and invoices) can filter by job title, alongside the existing site, department, entity, worker type, and tenure options.

Attendance

Timezone support on mobile Attendance entries on iOS and Android now respect the employee's local timezone, consistent with the existing web behaviour.

User and company timezone settings Employees can now set a personal timezone in their profile settings, which is used for shift emails and "Me" views. Admins can set a default timezone for the company in company settings.
