Customisable Request Form
You can now build bespoke absence request forms using attachment fields, notes, instructions, select fields, and more — ensuring you capture all the required information from employees when they request time off. Learn more about form building for absence requests here.
If you have used attachment field or instruction field for your absence policies, they will be now displayed and managed in the Request form page.
Granular Permissions
New permission settings allow organisations to assign absence policy admins to specific policies. This is particularly useful when department heads need visibility and control over their own team's absences without accessing other teams’ records. Read more here.
Unpaid Leave
We’ve extended absence functionality into payroll by introducing an unpaid leave setting. When selected, it automatically generates explicit payroll deductions, streamlining how leave impacts payroll calculations.
Previously unpaid absences would reduce the base pay by the pro-rata of days absent. Now you have an option to show a new pay line for a deduction.

Enhanced reporting flexibility and financial insights, enabling deeper data exploration and smarter decision-making. With new chart filters and smarter grouping logic, you can surface insights faster and tailor reporting to specific organisational needs.
Filters on Insights Charts
Quickly apply filters to insights charts to better understand your team setup at a glance — giving you visual clarity and actionable context.
Filter Groups with AND / OR Operators
Create highly specific reports using grouped filters with logical operators (AND/OR), allowing for precise segmentation and analysis.
Change Reports
Enable viewing all historical records to track changes for Roles, Compensation, Contract, Address, Bank details, Tax information and any fields with Effective Dates. To see previous records, turn on viewing all records rather than Effective records only in Custom Reports.
Payroll Journal with Cost Centre Mapping
Pay items in the payroll journal can now be assigned to cost centres using Entity, Department or Site, giving you a more detailed breakdown of your organisation’s financials.
Tip: To start using cost centres for Payroll Reports, start by assigning cost centre for an Entity, Department or Site. Next, build a report selecting "Pay items" for any payroll. Set an aggregation for Pay item Amount, to sum up per Cost centre. Use this template as a starting point.

Employees will now answer one question at a time in performance reviews, helping them stay focused and provide better responses before moving on to the next prompt.
Review Submission Notifications for Managers
A new alert setting notifies managers as soon as reviews are submitted for their direct reports — helping them stay on top of feedback cycles and performance tracking. To enable this notification, you can update Ongoing cycles in the Notifications tab.
Payroll
New UK tax year updates and benefits handling — stay compliant and make the most of available tax relief. These changes help companies reduce their tax burden and stay on top of critical payroll deadlines.
Employment Allowance 2025
With the new tax year underway in the UK, your company may now be eligible for up to £10,500 in Employment Allowance relief. Make sure to review your eligibility and claim it in Company settings > Payroll > HMRC > Claim allowance.
Payrolling Benefits and P11D Submission
If you have offered benefits like health insurance or wellness allowances, don’t forget: P11D submissions are due by July 6th. Reach out to support to make sure your submission process is smooth and compliant.
