It is now possible to archive schedules that are no longer in use.
It is now possible to create jobs for tracking that are no paid by hourly rate but instead are paid at a fixed amount, regardless of hours tracked.
Hourly paid employees can have minimum contracted hours defined in their Profile → Compensation → Salary section, making it easier to stay compliant, manage expectations, and ensure fair tracking across your team.

Updates to how pro-rata is calculated for new joiners and leavers: Now, Zelt will automatically calculate the proportion of days worked out of possible working days in the pay period. For example, weekly paid worker who usually works Mon to Fri, is departing on Wednesday. This means, their final payslip will be only 60% of their base pay (=3 days worked ÷ 5 days total possible).
Advanced reports now support custom pay items, allowing you to build a report on any pay lines that have been included in your pay runs.
The UK tax year ends on April 5th. All UK payrolls will automatically switch to the new tax year on April 6th, with all relevant changes applied for you — no action needed. Learn more.
Other Releases
It is now possible to mark employees as Payrolled or Non-payrolled in their Contract section of the profile, to manage their treatment for payroll related features. This replaces the legacy field for "Worker type" but your existing information will remain under "Worker type (legacy)" field, which you can also now delete.
