This time we are bringing out a Zero-touch device deployment, deeper integration with Oyster and a refresh for Employee Benefits. Read on below to learn about the latest features.
Zero-touch device deployment
If your team runs on Apple devices (iOS, MacOs, iPadOS) you can now manage MDM enrolment to Zelt touch-free. Adding Zelt MDM directly to your company's Apple Business Manager (ABM) offers a few key advantages:
Simplified Asset Management
When purchasing new devices through your company account, Zelt will automatically add devices to your inventory with full details and specs, ready to be assigned to your employees.
Automatic Enrolment
Once assigned, devices will be automatically configured ready for the new owner. Account information will be created using Zelt details of the new owner. Security settings will be activated immediately as the employee logs in.
Enhanced Security
With ABM integration, your devices are locked into Zelt’s MDM, meaning employees can’t remove the management profile, keeping your security standards intact.
Zero-Touch Deployment
You can configure devices remotely before they even reach your employees, so they are ready to go right out of the box, reducing setup time.
In contrast, open enrolment requires manual device enrolment, lacks the same security enforcement (users can remove MDM), and doesn't support automatic enrolment for new devices, making management less seamless and secure.

Time sync with Oyster
On this release we are expanding the existing integration with Oyster, a global employment platform to help companies hire, pay, and care for talent anywhere.
In addition to onboarding and managing your employee profiles between Zelt and Oyster, you can now synchronise absence requests between Zelt and Oyster.
How does it work?
Zelt will automatically send approved requests to Oyster, according to the mapping you have set up. So for example, Holiday policy bookings in Zelt will be synced as Vacation Paid in Oyster.
A new entry will be created for the relevant Oyster employee, in Oyster, as soon as a request is approved, in Zelt.
An email will be sent to the Oyster App owner in Zelt, notifying them of a successful or failed sync.
Updates, changes and deletions are not supported in Oyster at the moment. So if a request is deleted in Zelt, it would need to be deleted from Oyster too, separately.
Notes and attachments are currently not supported in Oyster but they will be saved in Zelt.
How to set this up in Zelt?
In Tech, find Oyster app. If not integrated yet, follow the steps to authenticate the app.
In Oyster app, find Mapping page. Here you will be able to select your Zelt policies and provide Type and Reason that will correlate to your Oyster account.
Employee benefits
This release features a smoother Employee Benefits and Rewards experience in Zelt. If you are looking for an efficient way to offer flexibility while maintaining control over costs - you can manage Benefit expenditures with Expenses in Zelt.
Providing employee benefits that can be claimed back via expenses offers several advantages for employers: Self-serve employee experience, less administrative burden and tax efficiencies.
